ABOUT

 Let me give you a bit of my background on myself, the breed, and my love for the dogs we have, and puppies we produce.

I am a nurse by profession, and my love to care for and heal humans has spilled over to the ever powering love for animals.

My love for horses was first and foremost for many years, however, I now leave that for others and watch from afar to concentrate on my dogs and my breeding program.

 

I have been raising and showing miniature Australian Shepherds since 1996, and have produced champions in many venues; from conformation, to agility, flyball, rally obedience, and just wonderful family pets. I have had puppies go all over Canada and USA to wonderful homes during this time.

Watching these puppies become wonderful companions and great Champions has given me so much joy, and belief that these little dogs are perfect in so many ways for the families of today who want a dog that can be versatile, loving and loyal to them and their families.

 

The breed has been fully recognized since 2014 in the American Kennel Club as the Miniature American Shepherd, and is being recognized in countries all over the world.  This recognition is huge for our breed.

 

I have spent many years learning and implementing puppy rearing ideas and continue to learn along side my husband and puppy rearing helper and partner.

I also have a love for nutrition and believe that there are many great ways to supplement your dogs daily feeding with wonderful ingredients from our garden, local organic produce and organic meats. I cook for my dogs daily once they are a few months old.
